Hi David,

I've been conducting a semi-controlled experiment by asking different technology-savvy groups how they describe Twitter to other people.

Nathan Rome pointed me to your post, and I really like how you describe Twitter. What a tool is, and how you use (or abuse) it are two different things.

I also resisted Twitter for a long time, but I'm slowly coming round to the real benefits for using it in certain situations.

The key is to realize that there is nothing to "get."

Twitter just is. It is what you make of it. It is a mirror. Chaos theory teaches us from simplicity comes complexity. That's why Twitter works.
